An Enchanting Evening of Unity and Celebration with the ICAA Community
On a magical evening filled with the vibrant IC spirit, the ICAA community gathered for an unforgettable Suhoor at Lost and Found, a remarkable restaurant owned by IC alumni Nayla Saab, Class of 1995. The restaurant buzzed with the energy of alumni, all united under one roof, filling the space with warmth, laughter, and shared memories.
The night began with a heartfelt welcome from ICAA President, Dr. Samer Doughan, who discussed the board's vision and the collective aspirations they have for serving the greater good of the IC community. His words resonated deeply, reaffirming the commitment to our alma mater and the continued growth of the ICAA.
The evening took a momentous turn as Mr. Toby Wait announced joining the ICAA where he was officially welcomed into the ICAA Board as its 15th member. With sincere enthusiasm, he shared his excitement about joining this remarkable community and his dedication to supporting its future endeavors.
Nayla Saab, the proud owner of Lost and Found, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to host the event in her beloved restaurant. Lost and Found is more than a dining space, it’s a mindful corner for reflection and renewal. A wellness-inspired haven where guests are invited to release negative thoughts into the Lost Box, and in return, receive uplifting affirmations from the Found Box, as a gentle reminder of life’s beauty and the light we each carry within.
Guests were captivated by the exquisite design and calming ambiance, a true reflection of Nayla’s vision. As they savored each delectable bite, the space came alive with joy, connection, and a shared sense of presence.
Adding a personal touch to the evening, Rima Khayat, Class of '96 and co-founder of “Decorate and Donate”, generously offered beautiful bracelet giveaways to all attendees. This gesture was a symbol of the strength, solidarity, and spirit of giving that defines the IC Alumni community, a community that continues to thrive, united in purpose and heart.
What better way to keep the IC spirit alive than to witness the unity and support of our community at every turn? True to form, the IC community displayed its spirit of giving back, as freshly graduated alumni eagerly volunteered to support the board members at the Suhoor event. They assisted with guest interviews, event documentation, photography, and in numerous other ways, helping the ICAA share highlights with the community and embodying the core values of our network. It was an evening that not only celebrated our past but also ignited excitement for the future. A testament to the enduring bonds and the incredible potential of the ICAA family.
